horse bookends sculpture

This sculpture is a sorta redo. I lost the first, “Only the Strong Survive” in a kiln mishap but instead of simply redoing this sculpture I decided to make it into bookends so when I was all done I cut him in half. Later, after glazing and firing, I’ll mount him on wood bases.
This sculpture’s title is, “Only the Strong Survive…make a stand II” sung by Jerry Butler.
